APCA plans protests against govt’s decision on CNG supply
RAWALPINDI: The All-Pakistan CNG Association (APCA) on Friday announced plans for countrywide protests against the government’s decision to halt gas supply to CNG stations for two days every week in winter. According to a press release, the APCA meeting was held at the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where the association gave the government until November 15 to withdraw its decision; otherwise all CNG stations in Punjab, Balochistan and NWFP would be shut down indefinitely. The association expressed concern over the government’s decision, asking it not to implement “this unwise and irrational proposal”. staff report
